The enormous mouth of the giant leaf-tailed gecko (Uroplatus fimbriatus) is fitted with more teeth than that of any other land animal, perhaps to help it capture frogs and other small, slippery animals that constitute its diet (Makira, Madagascar). - source

"And he wonders why he got cut from the Geico auditions."

Piotr Naskrecki -insect, natural history, and nature photographer- has documented in his latest book, "The Smaller Majority" an astounding personal collection of beautifully detailed wildlife images.  The close attention given to these tiny and numerous creatures brings a creative euphoria to the viewer and reader.
