Kilo Ali is back in Atlanta!

He was seen singing his most well known singles "Love In Ya Mouth" and "Nasty Dancer" at Maggies in Atlanta with KDENCE.

"He is out of jail from serving about 6 years of a 15 year sentence stemming from the arson charge and was released just before Christmas last year."

"Kilo is somewhat of a legend around Atlanta after he hit the pinnacle of success during the days when Atlanta was all about the bass."

It simply shreds!

Is anyone else excited to see Pat Smear back and playing with the Foos?

OM(usic)FG - Who is Your Pick for American Idol?

This Tuesday is the final performance show for American Idol. The winner will be announced this Wednesday night. This season, in my opinion, has been the best! The talent that was brought in to compete was amazing this year. My favorite idols were James, Lauren & Scotty. It was a shock when James went home the other week, but I'm happy that the winner will be someone with great talent & personality. Who is your pick for winner, Lauren or Scotty?

OMF(ood)G - Simply Delicious - Oceanaire

Oh my, I have a great place to try if you haven’t already; THE OCEANAIRE SEAFOOD ROOM! Tried this out last week and what a treat!
On the appetizer side of the menu we (2 couples) had Fried Asparagus, Fried Beer Battered Pickles and Oysters Rockefeller. OMG it was very good! My meal was the Baked Stuffed Shrimp with Creamy Linguine Pasta and it was simply delicious!!! My better half ate the 8 oz. center-cut Filet Mignon, butter flied, with the sea salt & vinegar fries (yummy, you know I had to have a taste) and we also had some of the wonderful Mac & Blue Cheese. If that was not enough we also tried the Crème Brule for dessert. I thought I was going to die I was so full! The other couple also enjoyed every bite of their meal.

I will say this is a dining experience so the prices are not like going to your local sandwich shop but for a special night on the town you should give it a try.

Street Violence - Straight Chillin' EP

Street Violence...... Pop/Surf/Rockabilly/Low-Fi/Psychedelia/LOCAL
We just got our hands on the new EP from Street Violence and it is a trip! High energy mixture of reverberated low fi rock. Throw back? Yes... But at the same time, SO relevant and in the now. The vocals are haunting yet bubble gum pop-a-licious. Download away and put them on your iPod as you ride your fixie through Little 5. ;-)

OMF(G)ossip - Paul McCartney ENGAGED!

picture from dailymail.co.uk

Paul McCartney, 68, has finally popped the question...again.  He and longtime girlfriend Nancy Shevell, 51, have been dating since the summer of 2007, and are now ready to walk down the aisle. This is the third marriage for Paul.  Let's hope this one doesn't go all Heather Mills crazy on him. Cheers to the happy couple!

Tornado Disaster Relief - Help & get a cute shirt

picture from maggiecrisler.com

Last Wednesday, a deadly tornado outbreak ravaged many parts of Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee. It was the second deadliest outbreak in US history. As residents in affected areas try to pick up the pieces, others are left wondering how they can help. The worst areas have the roads shut down, so you can't drive in to help, but you CAN help.

You can donate to the American Red Cross here. Maggie Crisler of Alabama is offering these great shirts and will donate 100% of the proceeds to the American Red Cross.  She lived in Tuscaloosa, AL for 4 years, and this is her way of helping out her community.  They only cost $15 ($5 shipping), or if you live in the area, she can arrange to get one to you.  Her goal is to raise $1,000 to donate, let's help her out! A great shirt for a great cause!  Visit her website or click on the picture above to purchase yours:

American Red Cross can help all of the storm victims! Thanks for your donation!
