Milo Greene - Criminal Records - Thursday, October 18th
Milo Greene will be performing twice in Atlanta this Thursday! Wanted to give everyone a heads up, so you could get out and listen to some new music! Milo Greene will be performing a mid-day set over at Criminal Records at 4:00 pm Thursday, the 18th. They will be at The Earl later on that night. They put on an interesting show, considering the band has 4 singers. So get on up and check 'em out! You know we make it easy for you:

Back once again with another OMFG HOOK UP. I know ya'll dig Theophilus London. Thats a fact. But, I'm not sure if you guys know that he is playing on Friday at The Earl in EAV. I got a pair of tickets to give away to the first person who emails OMFGBLOGSPOT@GMAIL.COM and tells us that they deserve to get in free. Maybe you spent your rent money on booze? 100 Monkeys invade Atlanta - 4/26/10 The Earl

Ben Graupner (Ben G.), Ben Johnson (Ben J.), Jackson Rathbone (J. Action), Jerad Anderson (J. Rad), and Uncle Larry (Uncle) are coming all the way from Los Angeles to show Atlanta what they’re made of. Come out Monday to The Earl in East Atlanta to show these guys how awesome Atlanta is.
They bring a play list that has a great combination of slow and fast alt rock songs with a gritty Doors-like sound. Need an updated comparison? Take a little flavor from Spoon, Arctic Monkeys, Neutral Milk Hotel, and The Strokes, mix it all together, and you’ve got the unique sound of 100 Monkeys. (And yes, I know Neutral Milk Hotel isn’t really THAT recent.)
One of their older songs I like that isn’t on this album is “Ugly Girl.” (see hilarious video below)
Oh, does that one guy look familiar? Yeah, IF you recognized him without the curly blonde hair, it’s Jasper from the Twilight series. Even if you aren’t a Twilight fan, you have to come out Monday because I know you already love the music and personality of this awesome band!
Doors are at 8:30PM, tickets are $13 adv/$15 at the door, and it’s a 21+ show, so you don’t have to worry about squealing 15 year old “Twi-hards.” You can stand up there and say “J. Action, I appreciate you because of your awesome music, not because you sparkle.”

The Entrance Band at the Earl Tuesday January 26th
The Entrance Band, made up of Guy Blakeslee (Vocals, Guitar), Paz Lenchantin (Bass), and Derek James (Drums), recently started their US tour, and will be stopping in Atlanta tomorrow for a show at The Earl!!!

LA Times says, " Their music creates the feeling that something fresh and powerful is afoot. A potent mix of political mindedness -- including a few conspiracy theories -- and musical virtuosity, their songs throb and wail and strive to open minds.”
Their latest album, released September of 2009, is the self titled follow up to their 2006 album Prayer of Death.
The Show starts at 9:00 with openers Cloud Mountain Canyon and Lights; Tickets are $10.
