Lee Brice’s highly anticipated sophomore album “Hard 2 Love”
dropped this past Tuesday and is already bringing in rave reviews. The album currently has a 5 star rating on
iTunes from more than 400 ratings and is only further complimented by many
great comments about the CD.
Christopher writes “Lee Brice is getting better and better with each
track and each album, these songs are good soul music for country lovers.” Another fan gushes “Amazing! I have been
waiting for the album to come out! It is a great mix, but still country! A must
have!”
Brice, a South Carolina native, has co-written songs for many other country artists
such as The Eli Young Band, Garth Brooks, and Tim McGraw, but his first album with
the hit single “Love Like Crazy” helped him make his mark in country music
as a solo artist. This debut album
peaked at #3 on the Hot Country Songs chart, got him nominated for single
of the year and song of the year at the Academy of Country Music Awards, and
for breakthrough video of the year at the CMT Music awards in 2011.
His second album “Hard 2 Love” is a little different from his first lyrically and musically, but Brice says it still reflects him and where he is in his life. The whole album is anything but “Hard 2 Love,” and the first single “Woman Like You” has already reached #1 status and racked up millions of views on YouTube, proving that Brice has what it takes to hang with the big dogs on the billboard charts.
